I’m not even sure where to start because I don’t do reviews and I don’t blast people, but the last two times I have been to Northeast Georgia medical have been the worst experiences. I’ve had with doctors that I have ended up with here in Gainesville, Georgia. It started out good and ended up terrible! The doctors that I have ended up with Dr. Teesdale and Dr. KHAN just decided to basically tell me I’m getting discharged and I’m thrown out and then comes back right after they said that that I do have a severe infection in my prostate area and now they have to keep me, but they have taken all my pain meds away, which is in a very sensitive area And canceled all my meds out for no reason . I’m sure it’s because they need the room for someone else, but that doesn’t matter I’m still sick and you’re supposed to take care of someone that’s sick in the hospital last time I checked, Being a type one diabetic is no joke, especially when you are a brittle one and your blood sugars are all over the place and they are not stable. You should not send someone home like that they could die and then the hospital would be reliable, but they have better Lawyers than most people. So if you could help it, I would not come to Northeast Georgia medical hearing in Gainesville I would go somewhere else definitely like Athens or somewhere Atlanta anywhere but here but I just wanted to put Dr. Teesde and Dr. Kahn out there. They are really shady doctors. Sorry for the rant, but I just wanted everybody to know how they treat you up here. The nurses have been great. The charge nurses have been great, but not the doctors, The ER doctors were great but these floor doctors are shady thank y’all and y’all have a great day. I know I’m going to after I post this and put this out there. This has happened on the 2300 floor. These doctors need to be banned from this place because you can’t just take somebody off of pain medication. That’s still in pain and then offer them some Advil. I requested new doctors and they won’t do it. That’s pretty shady if you ask me, especially someone that is sick and honestly sick not trying to lay up in here and get medication because I don’t like medication but when you’re in this much pain it’s an only option. I will keep blasting these people until they fire them because their name is gonna be so bad. I’m so pissed off right now that it is Not right to do someone like this. It’s not human but they don’t care big Pharma controls everything nowadays just remember another hospital will be a better option. That’s what I’m gonna have to end up doing till I can get this infection out of my prostate please pray for me. Thank you very much. Have a great day.

I would like to say thank you to all the staff and nurses who took the time to take care of my son during his stay/surgery. I couldn't thank you all enough for the hospitality, respect, and love you all showed my son ❤️ shout out to Micheal Corsicana for the removal of his appendix, and the communication during that time! I had my surgery with the Dr. Chelsea (gynecologist oncologist) she is a wonderful doctor before and after my surgery. She explained everything I was going through . And the night shift nurse her name is Fate she was just absolutely wonderful to me. I hope to see her again someday. I will never going to forget all the care she had with me. Thank you!! 🙏🏻💕

Seems like they like to punish people for wanting to prolong their stay to get answers as to why they're sick. My husband was brought by ambulance for another heart attack. It was heard between the hospital staff & the emt that the hospital was full & if there's a borderline to NOT list it as a heartattack, then don't. So it was NOT listed as a heartattack. But he was admitted into EOU anyway. During our wait time into the EOU, we were in the hall, & a gentleman on the other side was agitated & clearly upset because he had been laying in that hallway for almost 12 hours with no room or Doctor. Anyway, my husband was kept overnight just to be told nothing was wrong & he was being sent home. He said they were mistaken, why is his chest constantly hurting & why will none of the doctors, including his will take any tests. So the Dr said she'd do a lupus test & something else IF he agreed to do a stress test. So basically black mailing him because those other tests were never done. They took him straight back for the stress test. Towards the end he fell apart. Screaming to be let out of the tube. Cussing to be let out. He was shaking uncontrollably & needed to be sick. They shoved one of their little plastic puke bags into a machine where he couldn't move & his arms are pinned above his head. So how the hell that was gonna help, IDK unless it was to torture him more. He screamed so much, a Dr finally demanded they get him out. He was freaking out so much that he could barely walk out of the hospital. We left immediately. After the abuse. The most sickening thing was how condescending the nurses spoke to him when he said he was leaving. After being lied to & tortured.

Sadly, I have to follow up my high praise review from last year with a less than glowing, and frankly, concerning review after my current stay here. Bigger isn’t always better. And though it seems this area was underserved for acute medical care, you can’t just keep expanding this cash cow and running it on the same sized staff. Profits over people is in full force here. I have been in the ER, CCU and ICU. And you are under staffed at every level. There was ONE tech last night to care for 24 high need patients. How is this safe? Everyone I have encountered from nurses and care techs, to transport and housekeeping are saying they are exhausted, pushed to the tipping point. I’ve seen more staff crying here than patient families! What is your saving grace here is your staff IS what makes this place great. From nurses to Text to housekeeping and transport, I haven’t met one Solon rude person. Everyone here is so kind so caring so passionate about whatever level of service they have been hired to provide. But if you keep pushing these people to do the work of two eventually they will leave and what you’ll replace them with will be your downfall no matter how damn big this place gets. And you can save your standard reply of please reach out to us cause it’s quite obvious the people at the top do not give a damn.
