My husband and I had a really good time here. Host/server was so great to us. The food was excellent soups are a must try and the pretzel wad amazing. We did get the beer cheese which was great but the mustards were our favorite! Such a cozy warm atmosphere. Would recommend and absolutely go back.

This is one of our go-tos in Helen. It's right in the middle of downtown and has good food. I got a 1/2 reuben with a cup of potato leek soup. The soup was absolutely creamy and delicious. The reuben was also tasty and even the fries were seasoned well. Friendly service and cozy atmosphere. We really love the bar lounge that opens during Oktoberfest and has a fantastic happy hour.

We stopped in for a few drinks and were met with the owners who were both amazing. They talked about their past in Germany and recommended drinks for us to try. Everything we had was great and we felt almost like family there. Very nice people and very comfortable place for a drink.

Food was better at other locations. Had to order my 3rd choice because they were out. Out if beer, out of wine, Bathroom was absolutely disgusting… Toilet paper and paper towels overflowed the garbage can onto the floor. There was no toilet paper, no paper towel, no soap.. and after I told someone, they made me feel like I was wasting there time. When we got our bill I expected some sort of discount for the meal I didn’t eat, but was sadly disappointed. Not only was it not discounted, they added the Cost of the wine That was out. Don’t waste your time here.

This place was absolutely AWFUL! From start to finish, such a horrible experience.
The service was terrible, the host was rude and seemed annoyed at the fact that we were a large party. The entire dining room was so filthy and our server looked like he was on drugs. He messed up the order, forgot the appetizers and was actively chewing every time he approached our table.
The food was so disgusting it was almost inedible, I have never had such horrible food in my life.
This place is a tourist trap and I would warn everyone to stay away from it!
I would give it ZERO stars if that was an option!
